- Traditional hand poked tattoo
Talia Migliaccio is a multidisciplinary nomadic artist and entrepreneur. She is most commonly and currently recognized for her traditional hand poked tattoo work. The tattoo process that she administers is solely created by hand without the use of a machine. All of the tattoo imagery is channeled for the individual she is working with at that time - created all during session. Talia looks to the technique as her greatest teacher as she did not learn the art form from another human. The hand poked process itself can be thought of as a mediation - dot by dot to create a whole - much like the world we live in or the cellular structure of life as we recognize it. It takes many pieces to create a whole - countless drops to construct the ocean. A much larger philosophy can be explored and explained through this tattoo work which is the substance backing the process. Her location presently changes about every two or so weeks as she has no home base. Talia is most often in Southern California but also frequents the Southwest and New York and in the last year has begun to travel internationally as well.
Since Talia is self made and has channeled her own process with her work she does not carry any official qualifications from any institution aside from a high school diploma from an arts magnet school in Denver.
