- Holistic Divorce and Family Law Attorney
- Yoga Teacher
Sarah has taught yoga since 2000, and practiced Family Law since 2008. She coined the term “Holistic Divorce and Family Law” to describe her unique style of practice. As an Attorney, she is ethically obligated and committed to zealously and diligently representing her clients. On a personal level, she feels compelled to honor the human experience that is intrinsic to Family Law litigation. Typically, Family Law litigants are people who have never been involved in any litigation. They are being asked to make important life decisions, while, arguably, going through the most emotionally difficult and painful experience of their lives. Sarah’s practice of Family Law law is deeply informed by her work as a yoga teacher. Given the highly charged nature of divorce litigation, Sarah will often guide her clients through breath work and meditation in the courthouse hallways. She has also implemented the use of aromatherapy and essential oils to assist in calming her clients during particularly tense moments. She is committed to honoring the very human experience that is often lost in the litigation process. She strives to ensure that her clients leave her office not only in a better life situation than in which they first walked in, but that they leave feeling emotionally and spiritually healed.
