Rachel Astarte is a psychotherapy associate, author, and educator. She holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and an MFA in Creative Writing. She is a Certified Transformational Life Coach and Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist.
Rachel received formal shamanic training from the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. Rachel brings to her therapy practice the vision of unity through individuality. The stronger our foundation of self, the better we can contribute to the world around us.
As a collaborative therapist and shamanic practitioner, I view problems as blessings pointing us in the direction of wellness. Using life’s challenges as a guide, we work together to build the foundation of self you need in order to live an enriching and fully human life.
This deep work benefits not only yourself, but also your loved ones and the rest of our human family. Along with a focus on mindfulness and self-development, I specialize in issues of sexuality and intimacy for both couples and individuals. Overall, I assist clients of all sexual orientations and cultural backgrounds develop more congruent and compassionate communication.
