    Melissa’s purpose for her offerings:

    "When a life changing moment presented itself in my life, I turned to yoga for peace, and healing. I wanted a place for my mind to be quiet. Where I could let all the pain and anger out. All the energy that I was keeping inside me, holding back the tears. It needed to come out somehow.
    I found that I could find peace, strength, and transform the way that I felt through moving, meditation, that is yoga. I didn’t know that yoga was transforming my life.
    Today, I am so happy to be able to slowly share the knowledge that is being passed down to me with my first 200hr training in breath and movement.
    Hopefully the first of many more. Now my passion is to share, the amazing healing benefits of yoga, movement, and meditation that continue to transform my life.
    And to help you heal those wounds, and make you stronger every. single. day"

    Philosophy

    Movement is healing.

    When we get depressed, anxious, etc, it is the body telling us to move and to release that stagnant energy that is stuck inside the body.

    I suffered for years with depression and anxiety and depended on medication and doctors visits for mental stability.

    My yoga practice was always in my life, but not until I started to practice the yoga philosophy into my daily life, did I realize how healing it could be.

    In order to be healthy in its whole, to find happiness, stability, and absolute bliss, I believe one has to work on detoxing the whole.

    That meaning, being mindful of what you say, what you think, who you see and what you see, and what you put inside your body.
