I had a beautiful, wholesome upbringing on a small organic hobby farm in Mid North Coast NSW. My parents have forever run whole food cafes and my father worked in Public Health.
I was also “blessed” with a hypersensitive immune system - that presented largely in my enlarged tonsils. I have from a very young age, always been able to feel if something is harmful to my body. This leading me to understand how what we consume can impact us negatively. During University I became fascinated in the digestive system. This was encouraged by the high prevalence of gut health issues in both my peers and patients. This is then when I really started to see how what we consume can impact us positively. I recently spent 8 months abroad in Central America, large portion of this time was doing an internship in Guatemala learning how to make tradition probiotic foods.

Nutritional Medicine is a holistic practice, recognising that illness and disease may be a consequence of the whole body not being in balance, rather than isolated systems. As a qualified nutritionist I follow the naturopathic philosophies to health care, which is in all aspects of health: mind, body and spirit. I endeavour to treat my clients with a gut focused holistic approach to uncover and heal the root cause of any dis-ease in the mind and body.
I not only offer dietary advise, but utilise food and nutrients in the treatment and prevention of illness and disease. I understand and support the human body’s innate ability to heal and focus on the causes of illness and disease to guide therapeutic treatments.
Finally, through education, I seek to empower my clients to understand how each unique individuals gut health impacts their over all health. Through an understanding of what food to choose and how to best prepare food for optimal nutrient absorption my aim is to provide my clients with vital information and accessible dietary/lifestyle changes to take control of their own health.
