Leigh regularly writes for mindbodygreen, Teen Vogue, and more. She is also a published academic author and renowned writer with a particular focus on botanical beauty, integrative and mental health, and holistic wellness.

I've spent years cultivating my passion of aromas and the mind, which led me on a healing path--from ashrams in India to graduate school in spirituality and neuroscience in NYC. I have a deep interest in connecting in community of healers and like-minded spiritual souls to support one another and collaborate in our quest to raise consciousness. Currently, I teach at the New York Institute of Aromatherapy and teach workshops around the U.S. integrating aromatherapy, yoga, meditation, and other contemplative practices.
My philosophy when I teach is to try to reach students on a deep level to initiate their own healing and perhaps spark deeper interest in self-care and love: "Don't you hear it? she asked & I shook my head no & then she started to dance & suddenly there was music everywhere & it went on for a very long time & when I finally found words all I could say was thank you.” - B.Andreas.
