LEAH DANIELLE KLATT, CO-FOUNDER OF PAAVANI AYURVEDA
Leah grew up in Wisconsin & has the roots of a Midwestern girl. In 2007, Leah graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelors of Science in Conservation & Environmental Sciences; including a Minor in Biology, a Minor in Business & a Certification in Entrepreneurship. In 2009, Leah followed her heart to California, where she discovered Ayurveda. She was immediately drawn to this system due to her interest in the natural world & the symbiotic interconnectedness that exists between nature, mind, body & soul. In 2013, Leah completed her course of study at the California College of Ayurveda, in which she became certified as an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner, Ayurvedic Massage & Body Therapist, Ayurvedic Facials Specialist & Ayurvedic Herbalist. Once graduated, Leah joined the Blue Sage Ayurveda team in which she gained direct experience offering Pancha Karma therapies administered under the tutelage of Ragaia Belovarac.
Today, Leah is co-founder & lead therapist of PAAVANI Ayurveda. She thoroughly enjoys connecting with clients & plant spirits through her product offerings, the art of healing touch & the teachings of Ayurveda. Leah is a firm proponent of the notion that everyone who applies Ayurvedic principles to their lives empowers themselves to be their own healer. Leah feels honored to be a channel for sharing this wisdom with the modern world. She dreams that one day all families will raise their children with the principals of Ayurveda & that the world will find healing solace through each individual’s cultivation of personal balance.
As a yoga teacher, my intention is to create a space where students can return back to the physical body in order to cultivate peace and awareness in both their inner and outer worlds. In my life, yoga has been a positive driving force and I hope to share this energy with others.

Years In Practice
The seed of PAAVANI Ayurveda was planted between Leah Klatt & Trudy Collings during their Herbalism Apprenticeship, at the California College of Ayurveda. It was then that the women discovered their common passion for developing skin & body care products that carry on the tradition of Ayurveda. They decided that they wanted to share this with the world.
PAAVANI was born a few years later in 2014, when the women opened an office space in Grass Valley, CA, to offer Traditional Ayurvedic Body Therapies. It was at this time that the first products in their line were developed- the aromatherapy spritzers & body oils. The women intended to create dosha specific products that they could use in their therapies & further extend out to their community.
Co-owners, Leah & Trudy, bow to the inspiring forces of the community in which they are blessed to call home. This healing, energetic center in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, is home to the sacred Yuba River, vast horizons of wild, natural beauty & creative people who influence them daily. The women give thanks to the powerful energy of this community & the support that it has offered to their creation of PAAVANI. Furthermore, the women seek inspiration & guidance through yoga & its philosophy, song, dance, shamanic journeying & travels around the world. PAAVANI would not be the thriving business it is today without the help of these awakening forces.
