- Nutrition Coaching
This is my main service. I work with people around the country because I utilize online sites that allow me to help my clients and watch the way they eat from anywhere in the world. I do a consultation to start, this consists of an analysis of a week long food journal and then from there I coach my clients based on the goals that we develop together during their consultation.
I am a Certified Nutrition and Health Coach. I am married to my wonderful husband and I am also a new mama to my nearly five month old son. I understand that nutrition and being healthy can be difficult in anyone's life and my goal is to help people learn how to be healthy and incorporate it into their lives without letting it take over their lives. Lets just say I love anything to do with nutrition and I want to help everyone learn how good food really is for you, mentally and physically. I work with anyone from professional athletes to Moms just trying to fit back into their pre-baby clothes. I myself an avid runner and run at least 5 times a week. I also love yoga, and while I haven't been able to do as much of it as I would like since I had the baby I still get it in when I can.
I built my business and my coaching methods mainly off of the way that I enjoy eating. I am not someone who likes to diet and I don't like being limited or told I can't do something. All of my work revolves around eating in moderation and listening to your own body and what it needs. I will never tell my clients that they can't eat something, only recommend how to eat the best that they can for their bodies. I am very much a "practice what you preach" type of person so I don't feel it's right for me to eat ice cream but then tell my clients that they shouldn't. The only thing I ever say is "you can eat a cookie, just don't eat the whole box." This is where learning about your own body comes in. So many people have forgotten how to listen to their intuitions and try to go off too much advice that is put out there. I help my clients to learn what their current real eating habits are like, without the diets, and then fine tune those habits so that they benefit that person specifically.
