I am a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and have a background in a variety of therapeutic healing, cooking, breath, movement, mindfulness and bodywork modalities.  I believe that education and stress management are keys to self-realization and as such use my experiences with these varied practices along with a sense of imagination and play to help individuals find what works best for their unique lifestyle and aesthetic while highlighting the beauty and brilliance of the human body.
    >In addition to working with clients and facilitating workshops, I also helped write and develop the Clean Plates restaurant guidebooks, cookbook, mobile app and email publication Motivate. My work can be seen across multiple digital and printed platforms including Yahoo Health, Epoch Times and Cosmopolitan. I have developed and taught workshops in multiple educational and corporate settings including NYU, Whole Foods and Equinox gyms. I also consult for Abby Epstein and Ricki Lake's BOBB Productions

I deeply trust the body's innate birthing intelligence and abilities while also believing there is truly no one "right" way to birth. As such, I work with each woman/partnership to find what works best for your unique circumstances and preferences whether that be in a home, hospital or birth center setting.  Your way, is the only "right" way and I feel so lucky to be able to hold space and provide support for women to be able to find their unique selves.
I provide continuous support and advocacy throughout our time together so that you can be an active participant in your birthing experience and surrender to your labor in whatever shape it takes.
I teach comfort techniques to partners as well as offer hands-on support such as massage, optimal positioning, Hypnobirthing, acupressure, breath work, vocal work, optimal positioning for epidurals, Spinning Babies, rebozo and meditation. I also integrate some nutrition, stress reduction and childbirth education content into our time together.
I am a certified doula through DONA International and am currently on track to be a certified childbirth educator with CEAMNY. I am also a prenatal nutrition and wellness consultant and have spent time studying with midwives in Guatemala. My speciality is addressing the mindset and emotions of labor, birth and the transition to parenthood.
